jeffreybehr
The springs arrived from Tire Rack (only $234 plus shipping) yesterday and my goodbuddymechanic said bring 'em over! So I did and we installed them. Unfortunately he got started so quickly I couldn't measure the 'before' height, but the Edge appears to be down about the 1-1/2" H&R claims. Will post pics this afternoon.

scoopo
Nice! Can't wait to see the pics. I'm having my springs and wheels & tires installed Saturday morning - appointment all set! Let's see some pictures!
jeffreybehr
Good_Hands: "Spring Tease." You're sharp today! :shades: No more teasing-- Before: After: (Notice the front-window tinting...to 35%.) The rear looks a little lower in this pic than it looks in person; I think it's the outline of the tire. I still haven't noticed any worsening of the ride--maybe because I'd rather not notice any. Someone creased my LF fender this morning in a parkinglot. Didn't notice it until much later. Here's my favorite Edge pic so far. 007
35% tint in Maryland would get you a very large citation from the State Police...
scoopo
That looks sooo sweet! :shades: The before and after pics in front of that fence give a very nice look at the change. I'm uber-excited to get mine done Saturday! Bummer about the fender. Some people have no respect for other people's things and/or are idiots. Hate to see that. Great pics! Thanks for posting them up! I got 35% tint on my front windows as well. That's the law in Tennessee where I had it done and where I work. The guy at the tint shop said the 35% plus the minor factory tint came out to about 32% which is the law in Georgia where I live. All nice and legal ^_^ Edited September 12, 2007 by scoopo

scoopo
I dropped my Edge off this evening and will be picking it up tomorrow afternoon!! I'm really looking forward to the difference! H&R Sport springs, Zinik Violi Z20 black wheels, and Hankook 275/45R20 tires. (Those tires looked better than I expected when I took delivery ) If it's nice out I will get her washed and score the after pics. Might be Sunday. :P

PrinzII
Given the Edge is technically the wife-mobile, I have to make it as comfy as possible for her. I saw some H&R springs that don't lower as much as well as a rear sway bar. Those two things just got added to the list of modifications. I have the H&R spring kit installed and it makes a world of difference. Do you have a link for the rear sway bar? I'd like to check that out. Just ordered a custom tune for my Edge and I'll post the results. Thanks.

NYEdge
Bulldog, I had my mechanic install the springs and then re-aligned the vehicle for about $200. The end result is well worth it. The car sticks to the road with the combination of the springs and the tires I mounted.
killermaze
Sweet ride buddy!...I am getting my 35% tint this weekend, the guy told me I couldn't open my windows for 30 days? Is that True? Hey sony, I've gotten two cars tinted. Its actually 5 days and not to wash your car for 5 days as well. Eeek can you picture someone not rollling their windows down for 30 days...... especially in the summer when you want it half down and loud music so you can get people attention.
