Chas.
2010 Edge. There's an indicator panel next to the floor shifter. As most, it indicated P,R,N,D,L. However, at night this panel can't be seen without turning on the map light. Is there a light bulb under there that's burned out, or is it just not lit. autom8r
If the bulb isn't there, the wires may be.... These wiring diagrams are for a 2008. 2010 shouldn't be much different. Good luck. JOEHIO
I can't i,agine that Ford would not include an indicator light. How the heck can you see what gear you are in. Me thinks that a bulb burnt out, and has to be replaced. Edited November 8, 2012 by JOEHIO
Whits_Rock
The 2011 Limited has two places that indicate which gear you are in. The instrument cluster which is illuminated and on the center console next to the shift. My wife believes this was lit at one point but isn't illuminated any longer. The dealership I purchased the vehicle from called Ford today and they stated that in order to fix that so the lights illuminate again that it would cost $1,000 as it's way more work than just changing a bulb. I do find it very hard to believe and will be doing some more research.
