DunePearlEdge
I read online that the 2010 Edge has 285 horsepower while the 2007-2009 has 265 horsepower. Is this true? If so, what changes were made in the 2010 to give it the extra power? Was the 2010 the year the 3.5L switched to variable valve timing on both the intake and exhaust cams? blankster
The bump in HP is for the 2011 model year - Somewhere in the Ford announcement for the 2011s should include the changes to the engine.
DunePearlEdge
I thought so too but cars.com lists the 2010 as having 285 horsepower and the 2007-2009 as having 265 horsepower. Also, fueleconomy.gov lists the 2007-09 as having 17/24/19 fuel economy with the 2010 having 18/25/20 fuel economy.
