OurWing
We bought the Edge new and it has been great until recently. Periodically the 'wrench' symbols appears on the dash and the engine runs extremely rought and there is no power. We turn the Edge off, wait a minute, then restart the car and all is well. This has happened several times last week and Monday it is going to our local Ford dealer. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what was the cause and fix.. Thanks

akirby
Okay - Throttle Body... just what does that mean in english? It means......throttle body. It's the part that lets air into the engine. It's the modern version of a carburetor but without the fuel. They're electronically controlled and Ford has had problems with them on several new vehicles. At least that's the most likely suspect especially since a reboot fixes it.
