marvinj31 Posted June 29, 2014 Report Share Posted June 29, 2014 I recently acquired a 2013 Ford Edge Limited which I plan to tow behind my motorhome, however a recent letter in Motothome Magazine said that they had problems with the battery going dead and the odometer adding mileage while being towed. I had a 2007 Ford Edge ESL previously and had no such problems. I have not towed the 2013 yet and wonder if anyone has any experience. WWWPerfA_ZN0W Posted July 12, 2014 Report Share Posted July 12, 2014 I believe a recent topic mentioned that if flat-towing for long distances, starting and idling the Edge when stopped to fuelup the tow vehicle prevents a dead battery scenario.
