ernyw1
Just wanted to share a recent experience with my 2010 Edge. For a while I had a Compass No Response message. After many attempts and recalibrating, finally found the source of the problem. I've seen this message posted several times so thought I might be of help. Turns out it was my battery. I had a bad cell the battery that affected the compass. Once I replaced the battery, no problems. Also had to recalibrate by following the instructions in the owners manual, the driving in circles thing.
JOEHIO
Thanks for the tip, amazing what a "lazy" battery can go. Ya have to remember, today is the world of electronics, everyone (and thing) need a full charge. :hyper:

PaulSchott
Yep, the car battery. Electronics are very susceptible to low and inconsistent voltage.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Unlike some cars, the car battery is actually in the engine compartment. Here's a quick rundown on the Edge http://www.tomorrowstechnician.com/service-advisor-going-over-the-edge/
