Cellbine
For all of us that live in Germany, I think I just found where we can get Plasti Dip! Now, I haven't been to the store myself. I literally just found this online. I'm going to take a trip to Saarbrucken next weekend (bc everything is closed on Sundays in Germany) and see if I can pick some up. A store called Conrad sells it. SoCalEdge2012
What are you planning on dipping?
Cellbine
Grill and possibly wheels.
SoCalEdge2012
I'm sure you will, but please post pics of the wheels if you opt for it. I have the same ones, was wondering how they would look with plasti on them.
Cellbine
Will do. The only thing holding me back is the price. 20 euro per bottle. To do the wheels right, it will take about a bottle a wheel.
anomadtoo
I just came across your post; how did the Germany plasti dip work out? I came across the german version's website (http://www.plastidip-shop.de/index.php/produkte/felgenfolie.html); a little cheaper than conrad. I plan on doing my wheels. Cellbine
I found it not as black as the American version and laid on a much thinner coat. Was super expensive too. Im glad I had other dip to put over it. Maybe I just needed to put more coats on, but for 20 euro a can that wasn't happening. anomadtoo
thanks for the input. How many "german" cans did it take? I read 2 cans for 4-18in wheels. I have 20in wheels so thinking 3 cans should be good. I also saw on amazon.de that you can buy a wheel set of 4 cans (with the overspray cards, bag) for 50 euro; so about 12.50 euro a can; much better. Cellbine
That is much better. I would definitely go with the 4 can kit. I only bought 1 can and it didn't last that long. Hopefully the cans you get are much different from the one I had. The amount of cans depends on how many coats you want. I think 2 cans, from the States, would do about 3-4 coats. Make sure you have an extra can just in case.
