e350 coupe Posted September 22, 2012 Report Share Posted September 22, 2012 Was able to connect It does show texting as now an available option it is able to send a text according to instructions However texts sent are not received by other person and incoming goes directly to iPhone. It's like it's almost there but not working. When a text is sent to me and iphone in pocket nothing happens with mft, however iphone vibrates but does not ring. wilsons66604 Posted September 23, 2012 Report Share Posted September 23, 2012 I got my iPhone 5. One thing I have noticed since is that MFT is SO SLOW compared to the iPhone 5. Trying to enter a destination into the MFT is like using a 486 pentium compared to the responsiveness of the iPhone 5. I honestly tried my best to except the slow response and use voice commands. Voice commands are no better. In preparation for a short trip, I sat in the garage trying to enter two POI destinations. Very frustrating! When I did get a list of restaurant list narrowed down to 3, I had no idea which one to select because I couldn't see the address.
