kc300c
I'd like to see some too. I've been wanting to do this to my rear emblems for a while? I'm not going to cover the blue oval though, just the chrome. Some don't care for the blue, which is cool, but I c Kind of like having. A bit of color back there. SoCalEdge2012
I'm gonna do my Titan this evening or tomorrow....Maybe I'll hit the Edge. I can always take it off right? I'll post pics if I do.
SoCalEdge2012
Well, against the wife's wishes I did just the "edge" emblem on the back. Did a quick and dirty 3 coats, turned out decent. I guess I'll leave it on until the wife notices :busted: oops how did this get in here...hehe
bugout
looking forward to pics as well and ANY TIPS of things you ran into that could help any of us looking to do the same... i just bought my 2008 yesterday and plan on doing this ASAP as well. SoCalEdge2012
The "edge" was easy...I just did 3 coats and it came off surprisingly easy. Key is doing more coats (I'd suggest 5), building up a nice thick layer which makes it east to peel off.
kc300c
That looks great. Love the black and white cotrast. I already have a can of plasti. Just need to get the time to do it. Good work SoCal.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Looks good! For those that don't want black (few and far between as they may be), other colors are available also, including white, smoke, clear, blue, orange, yellow, and red. SoCalEdge2012
Thanks guys. That was my first attempt at it. I'll probably take it off the edge soon. With nothing else black on the car it doesn't look as good as say my Titan...or if I had a Sport trim. Maybe if I get black wheels I'll do it again. Looks really clean with no tearing.
