Duane Dailey Jr
So i've been following this forum since I decided to order a Ford Edge and all I want now is my damn vehicle. Purchased a 2013 Ford Edge back in May through the Exchange Military Care Sales while I was deployed overseas and it has been nothing but the biggest headache in the world. I love the Edge and I've drove a few and couldn't help but love all the tech that comes inside the thing, but has anyone else had such a headache experience? Ordered the Edge back in May, knowing that I could pick the date of pickup which I had originally set to be only about 3 weeks after I returned and i've had nothing but the damn run around. After looking over my order I noticed a few "additions" that they made without really knowing what they were (which I admit I should have came more prepared) and had them remove them. To include they automatically tack on the extended warranty through a 3rd party which I had no interest in, but after having that removed, they bumped the date back almost an entire month for something that wasn't even PHYSICALLY changed on the vehicle. Ok that sucks but I can deal with it. So I call the dealership to where it is to be delivered to find out if my vehicle had arrived, which it has a week ago, sitting on their lot to find out the ENCS hadn't even sent the paperwork for the vehicle yet, so give them a call and they tell me we sent it out that morning, so everyday i've been following up trying to find out when it arrives and yesterday I give them a call and how do you respond to a customer with "to be honest I haven't a clue where the paperwork is, we don't attach tracking numbers to our outgoing mail" Are you serious. This has been nothing but a horrible experience over administrative things that i've ever had to deal with, almost makes me wish I would have paid a little more and purchased off the lot instead of ordering. PrinzII
Thank you for your service. To give one of our servicemen the runaround to that degree is abysmal.
mtbalser
Thank You for your sevice! Call Ford directly tell them your story and that your Military, see what happens. If all else fails call your local TV station and get them involved, things will start popping then.

They seem to have the power to actually make things happen. If you are in the north east l pm me and I will give you the contact info I have. akirby
It's worth a try but I'm not sure that Ford has much authority over the military sales program.
Duane Dailey Jr
I was able to get it all straightened out, but I'm almost sure they were giving me the run around about the paperwork. Biggest pain in the ass ever. After multiple phone calls they were able to figure it all out, when it was suppose to be sent USPS, they turned around after they said they sent it a couple days later, and sent it out UPS. I would have been more understanding had they been upfront about things. I'm a happy camper now that my Edge is sitting in the driveway. =)
