2012 SEAT MEMORY RECALL.

Hi,

We have a 2012 EDGE Limited with the 302A package. WE love it, but recently had to do a master reset on the SYNC. and the memory feature on the seats and mirrior has stopped working. i thought maybe just had to reprogram them but doesn't help. it tries to adjust but moves about a quarter inch and stops. Not sure if its connected to SYNC or not. Any ideas before i make the trip back to the dealer ? Thank You.

I don't have memory seats but as far as I know the two systems are independent. When you say you did a master reset did you do the reset through the MFT or did you pull the battery cables? If you pulled the battery cables it would explain the loss of presets but don't know why you wouldn't be able to reprogram them afterwards.

I did the reset thru the MFT. I lost control of the 2 usb's and memery card for the mapping and was instructed to do the master reset. Yeah i dont think they would be connected but was funny it seemed to happen at the same time.

I've got a 2011 and from time to time my seat is unable to move forward. The dealership replaced the seat module but it has happened several times since.

Somebody gave me a tip on the forum to move the seat all the way forward and up. This seems to reset it's brain and allow it to function for a while.
