nasidaq
Hi! Just bought a 2008 Edge and stumbled across inserting a Navigation SD-card! The MyFord Touch Navigation system hasn't got any SD-card slot, and my USB drive just recognizes audio files (I tried it with an SD-card reader). Anyone who has got an idea how I can make the SD-card run? Thanks! Stephan
c_bova
don't think it applies to later models as MyFord Touch wasn't installed in the edge until model year 2011.
akirby
Correct. You don't have MyFordTouch and you don't have a SD card slot.
nasidaq
ok, thanks! According to Ford in 2013 there will be a Europe-map available on SD-card. Do you think I can then get it on a DVD or will I have to buy a new navigation system which is able to read SD-cards? Thanks! clem151
Navteq is the supplier of map DVD's for Ford. You should check out their website and see if there is a European DVD you can purchase or find on eBay. Otherwise, your only other option is to buy an aftermarket navigation system. There are many double DIN units that would fit, check out www.crutchfield.com Edited September 5, 2012 by clem151
