bigman30685
I just bought a 2012 Ford Edge Limited last week (love it so far btw), and I'm looking for a good location to either tie down or bolt down a small safe. In my last car I was able to secure a small cable safe in the trunk of my sedan. Just curious if anyone else has done this with the edge as of yet. Thanks in advance. http://www.gunvault.com/nanovault-200.html Here is a example of what I had inside my old car....if they want whats in the safe, they gotta take the car lol. Dingo
How about under the back seat with a cable around the seat supports?
bigman30685
I'll have to look into that, I wasn't sure if it would fit due to the folding rear seats...
Dingo
If you need to fold them, move it a little forward to the foot well, and they'll still fold.
Texasopa
Best place is on the Hip....
bigman30685
The only reason why I keep a safe is when I need to remove my weapon from my hip. If I decide to go have a brew, I don't like to have my weapon on me. Its better locked up. Throwing it under the drivers seat in not too smart. Dingo
When I go to a school, a courthouse, or a bar, I take the glock home and then go.
Limited59
Are you law enforcement? Otherwise why do you feel a need to carry a weapon with you? Sorry, as a Canadian I can't understand the fear that someone must have to feel the need to carry a gun.
bigman30685
I am in law enforcement, and unfortunately the things I have been called to do and/or experienced has increased my overall situational awareness. I prefer to be prepared when off duty. When I go to a school, a courthouse, or a bar, I take the glock home and then go. Im allowed to carry in schools as a PO, I carry to court just in case the scumbag decides to retaliate in the parking garage, but must "bench it" upon entry. I tend to go to "choir practice" at the end of my watch every now and then, my safe was the best location to lock it up. You a PO Dingo? Dingo
No, just former SF.
bigman30685
No, just former SF. Keep exercising your right to bear arms....only cops and outlaws carry here. I'm waiting for the state to overturn that shortly, so citizens can protect themselves.
