Tacyon
Can anyone point me to the documentation that describes the meaning of the AdvancedTrak display and what the bar graphs are suppose to depict ? I had this display up the other day .... and noticed that bar graphs appear by each of the four corners when accelerating. Dry, straight road, ~85`F doing about 50mph ... nail it and you'll see the bar graphs appear. Torque ?? They seemed to favor the front. Scorpio
Basically as you said - it's a pictorial representation of torque delivered to a particular drive wheel. In normal driving on dry roads the system is biased to the front wheels. When accelerating, or on slippery surfaces, more torque is sent to the rear wheels, or to wheels with the most traction. Link below is a couple years old, but still applicable I'm sure: http://media.ford.co...3&make_id=trust Edited August 26, 2012 by Scorpio
delldell
My Advance Trak error display has been coming on on my 2011 Edge over the last several weeks (approx 32k miles) Took it to the dealer. Ford knows it is a problem but has no fix right now.

JOEHIO
Yeah, mee too! I hope that this winter is better than last year. The only snow we got last year was right before Halloween, anf that was mostly ice. Need to see how the MKX (awd) handles in snow. Maybe I'll have to go visit friends out in Ohio.
