marsha12151
OK - no laughing. I really did read the manual and got even more confused. I have the SEL+ AWD with climate control. It seems to work great when I set a temp and let it go on it's own. BUT fall is coming and some days I just want fresh air - you know, the kind that you used to get by sliding the vent control to open. If I turn off the "AUTO" and turn on the fan, a temp still comes up and the AC comes on. Any one know how to get fresh air with the auto climate system????? Thanks! Make sure it isn't pressed. This way the air comes in from the outside. If recirculate is on, it recirculates the air inside the car. Turn off the Auto function. Turn off the A/C and recirculate function if they're on. Select the Vent position and adjust the fan speed manually. You might need to turn the temp control all the way down.
