mooshin
Is it possible to remove this thing without taking the entire front end apart? If so, how does it come off without any headaches?
feelin edgy
It is easy to take off, but it will leave you with two holes in the front bumper. The holder is held on by two large pop rivets. If you drill these out from the front (once the plate is removed of course) The frame comes right off.
normcloutier
I put black plastic snap in covers in the holes. Not as nice as no holes but at least it looks finished.
mooshin
Thanks guys. Where did you find the snap in covers for the holes?
ls973800
Lowe's Home Center and probably Home Depot. Lowe's has a huge selection of plugs in various sizes. You can find different finishes including chrome, or you can paint your own to blend in.
