jns2001
Hello all, I just want to introduce myself, I am currently on assignment in Brazil, and I just sold my wife's Captiva (known in the US as Saturn VUE) and looking at the local marketplace there is this dealership that is selling a Ford Edge with manufacturing date 2011 and model year 2012 for about 2K cheaper than the MD 2012 and MY 2012, the 2013 only hits here in a couple of months. My question to you is, is there any difference on the cars above that would justify buying one over another? I am ready to pull the trigger, and I have frantically been searching for it on the Internet and so far I found nothing of difference between the two. If anyone can chime in and give their opinion it would be greatly taken into consideration before Monday, which is the date that I am expecting to go back to the dealer and close the deal. On a second note, great forum and doing the LED mods is something that definitely is in my plans if I do acquire the car. The other option that we are contemplating is the Land Rover Evoque, beautiful car, but on the small side of the SUVs and a lot more $$$. Thanks for reading this. wlepse
I don't recall reading that there was a build change on the 2012's like there was on the 2011's. But I think there is some indication of the build change on the sticker but I am sure someone here can clarify what to look for.
Dingo
2011 - 2012 MY differences: Different headrests, rear spoiler, and led blinker mirrors, depending on the trim level. Since they're both 2012MY, they should be the same.
