bdoering
The rear passenger side seat has stopped reclining like it is supposed to. If I pull up on the recliner handle and really throw my back into the seat, it'll recline (making a clicking / ratcheting grinding sound along the way). Same thing to get the seat back up, it won't spring up on it's own when the latch is lifted. I need to lift the handle and pull on the seat to get it to return to it's upright position (same clicking/ ratcheting grinding sound on the way back up). I'm assuming there's some sort of adjustment that can be made to the latch mechanism itself to fix this, it only feels like it needs to be adjusted an 1/8" or so to clear whatever the latch is running into.. Has anyone experienced a similar problem, have an idea on how I can fix this, or where I can find instructions on how I can remove / disassemble the rear seat? Thanks!
JOEHIO
Don't know how to fix, but try googling it.
autom8r
The seat reclining mechanisms may be out of sync. The attached info may help. Good luck. REARSEATS.pdf
Gforty
I have the same problem but on the driver side. It will not recline or fold forward. I just took it out and tried to figure out how to release it but its hard to figure out where it pivots. I looked at the pdf for synchronizing so I may pull it back out and try again. its a 2013. Pretty bad that it fails this early in its life.
Brady
Anyone know of a video that directs the removal of the rear seat in a 2008 Edge?
