2FAST4U
I put some 22"s on my girlfriend' '11 MKX. Very pleased with them. I went with the same tire size as the Edge Sport model... Claude.
2FAST4U
Now that I showed you my girlfriend's MKX (previous post), I'm trying to find some custom wheels for my '16 Edge but there are soooo many choices…! Personally, I like a little bling… Something like this: http://www.amaniforged.com/nino-w-11352.htm Nice or not? Claude.

2FAST4U
Thanks for the replies…but instead of laughing or just saying "no", how about some suggestions?… ...that would be a little more helpful. Claude.
Burrcold
You asked "nice or not?". I responded and said "not". You like these kind or rims and I don't so my suggestions won't be worth your time.
macbwt
Before folks go on putting on some bigass rims, keep in mind that bigass rims are heavy as hell. Every extra pound of reciprocating weight equals adding 7 actual pounds to your car. Trying to handle all of that extra reciprocating weight means that it is going to put a LOT of extra stress on your drivetrain. It is not uncommon to have hub problems, breaking CV joints and half shafts, as well as premature transaxle bearing wear because it now has to rotate all of that extra weight. Then you have a suspension that will likely wear out quicker as well. All of that extra rotating mass means that your brakes now have a helluva lot more work to do. Especially when you go with these massive rims, a brake upgrade needs to come first. It may feel like it is stopping okay, but fade will likely set in much quicker during emergency braking. Those big rims also not only damage much easier, but have a tendency to fatigue much quicker than regular rims. That means that they will have a tendency to crack and start developing stress related structural changes. Also did I mention just how heavy they are when you try to rotate your tires or take them on and off? Might add also it will affect your acceleration as larger wheel require more HP simple math will show you this.
macbwt
A nice looking set of 19 inch wheels will provide you with great acceleration and extended mechanical life of your suspension and other components. Cheaper tires and wheels and better MPG's!!
macbwt
I drive 60K miles a year and have accumulated over 450K in the Edge's I drive. Tires are purchased on a yearly basis. This is my current choices. Just my actual experience.
