DXNJ
Greetings, My edge has the plastic cargo mat from Ford. Can anyone suggest something to use or do to prevent items from sliding around on it? All the trunk organizers used to hold items, come with velcro on the bottom but it only works if you are using the carpet liner in the trunk. I can remove the plastic one but I find it offers more protection for the back than exposing the carpet. Downside is everything slides. I was considering purchasing a non slip waterproof mat from Amazon which can be placed on top of the plastic. However, I'm not sure if it will look ghetto or not. Has anyone found a way to prevent items from slipping around? Thanks
Platinum White
Get a carpet remnant, berber carpet works for me and the hook part of velcro attaches and prevents slipping and sliding.
racefan
I have the same problem with my Edge cargo mat. I tried the non slip rubber you see in the retail stores on the shelf liner counter. It worked good for my toolbox.
MustangJack
Het a CargoLogic Mat, Ir has corners that attach with velcro. I have used them for years in an Explorer, 2 Mountaineers, and a Freestyle.
