mikesedge
Got my SE new wheels and lowered it. Mine came with the nasty 17 x 7.5 rims with "T" rated tires and sat real high for some reason, so the wheel well gap was huge. I got some 20 x 8.5 wheels with 255-50 "V" rated tires. It still looked crappy because of how high it sat, but handled a ton better. So then I lowered it with the H&R spring, and now it looks like it should. Between the V rated low profile tires and the springs the thing doesn't even handle like an suv, it handles and takes corners like a sport sedan. I am coming from a Pontiac G8 GT, so I like the firm ride. The 1st pic is stock, 2nd with new wheels, 3rd with wheels and lowered. The others show closeups of before and after of the wells. Not the best pictures, but ya can definitely see the difference. Love the way it looks now. It looks mean now, where it looked goofy before. Couldn't get big pictures to load, but hit the first one and it will get big and then you can hit right arrow to toggle through them. Let me know what you think. b4z
Looks fantastic! Does American racing sell those wheels in a painted version?

mikesedge
bz4, I don't know if they sell them painted or not. They are on TR if you want to check them out. Thanks Mike. Looks like we have basically the same setup (for wheels that is). Are those Helo wheels? I almost went with them if they are.
jwallace410
how was the ride changed when you added the new H&R Springs? Was the ride better or worse, some say its too bouncy, what do you think. I want to buy the springs and the KYB Shocks just curious of ride quality. mikesedge
It is definitely a harder ride. Down here we have very smooth roads, so it's no problem. I did go to Tampa where the roads are crappy, and it was a tad jarrring, but still acceptable. The cornering is improved ridiculously. I have no problem with the ride, but if you aren't use to that kind of ride it may be to much.
