Tim Roe
So I installed LED's all around inside my 07. Weirdest thing happening???? The rear courtesy lamp and the trunk lamp stay dimly lit. If I put an original bulb in trunk lamp the rear courtesy lamp goes out and all is well. Has any one else had this issue, not the biggest thing in the world I can put a piece of black duct tape over the trunk lamp, because the rear courtesy lamp is bright enough to light up trunk area. But still would like to know what's going on.
cjd3
I replaced all my interior lamps with LEDs and never had this problem. Sorry.
Tim Roe
so i figured out the issue,if anyone searches in the future. There is a low voltage current running through the lights even when off, and LED’s are such a small resistance it shows up, putting a stock bulb back in will draw the current out for its not strong enough for the filament in the stock bulb to light up. So I dbl up some duct tape over the truck lamp and left a stock bulb in it. No worries.
