ArcherAve
Just blacked out my Ford front, rear, and steering wheel emblem with black overlays. The Ford lettering is still noticeable due to being raised scripting, though it's hard to see in the pictures. De-badged the "Edge" and "SEL" as well. exodus
looks good. Where did you get the overlay's?
cjd3
How did you de-badge? Did you need to touch up the paint?
ArcherAve
I got the overlays from http://www.webxtremes.com/ . They were real easy to install, just gotta take your time doing it. Much better quality than I was expecting for the $20 I spent. They even sent me a few extras as well. De-badging was simple. Just held a blow dryer to the badge for a bit, then removed them with fishing line. Next, after the badge was off, took the blow dryer again and a credit card, or any soft plastic with rounded edges, and peeled the remaining adhesive slowly off. No touch up paint needed, but I recommend Goo-Gone for the residual adhesive. I had very little. Very easy to do, <20 minutes.
