Tom Champagne
After a couple of weeks the "patch" painting of a scuff mark(that I tried to remove with simple green and found out the dash is painted, not molded in the camel color) on our camel colored dash has started to yellow. Now the dealer has to replace the entire top of the dash which means that EVERYTHING comes out including the seats and will take approx 1 week to finish. Needless to say, I'm very nervous that I'll have a rattle/squeak trap for the rest of the time I have this vehicle...hopefully they will get it done right the 1st time without a bunch of repeat trips for minor issues, such as this doesn't work anymore, etc. Would anybody else feel this way? Would you have complete faith in any dealer to do this right? Thanks for reading...I'll post results when I get the car back.
dwg
I had the entire dash replaced on my 1999 Taurus when it was new. You would never know it was replaced. No rattles.
