DunePearlEdge
I recently installed a 2” tow hitch (thanks wlepse!) on my 2007 Edge. While under there, I noticed a wire bundle leading to the lower center of the inside of the rear plastic bumper. The bundle terminates at an open female connection. Is this for connecting the lighting wiring on a trailer? Are there any other parts (or a kit) necessary to connect trailer lighting? Do Edges equipped with the tow package (mine obviously not) include any other components other than a hitch and wiring such as a trans fluid cooler or engine oil cooler? Dingo
Do you have backup sensors?
DunePearlEdge
I have an SEL and do not have back up sensors. Could this be what the connection is for?
Dingo
I would think that it's a distinct possibility.
Edge Limited
My 2008 Edge has a factory towing package. Part of that package is a rather large trans cooler.
