Vern1980
Hi all, I recently updated my 2012 Edge to the 3.0.2 software. At first, it appeared that everything installed just fine. However, a couple of days later, I started getting a message that 'DA5T-14D546-LA' did not install properly. Sometimes, I have to turn off the vehicle and restart it to get the message to clear. As near as I can tell, everything seems to be working just fine. I tried getting the update again, but for some reason, I am unable to re-download the update and I (stupidly) deleted the files from my flash drive. I sent a message to the folks at Ford and was told to call them. It should be as easy as putting the file on a drive and plugging it in, I would think... Does anyone have 'DA5T-14D546-LA' that they could send me (or attach to their response)? I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Steve

Vern1980
Thanks for the suggestions. While I'm sure a dealership could help me out, I'd rather try and take care of this myself. I'm fairly certain that if I still had the files I downloaded, I could just plug the USB drive in and the system would find the files it needs. I did talk to someone at Ford's 'tech support' this weekend and he had me try a Master Reset. At first, it seemed to work, but later in the day, the same error message returned. akirby
If the update from usb didn't work right the first time what makes you think just "plugging in a usb drive with the file on it" will work? The file has to be installed with the entire package. It could also be a storage problem with the APIM.
