  1. Good for you for reading with a grain of salt. Yes there are frustrations and someone people have major issues. Some have had hardware failures too - I was one of the early purchaser's (Last September) and I am still on the original 1.8 version that came with the car. I have had my oil changed once and just over 10k miles. I love the car. I have a limited AWD 301A with Navigation. I will say my maps are a bit off, but more in the sense of driving a half in off the road in the picture - not missing major streets. I love this car and would purchase it again.
  2. Seems to be answered on this thread... http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/topic/7301-ba-bye-salt-hello-bugs/
  3. I read this to say that they have the slot, but not the card - I believe they all have the slot?
  4. I notice this when my daughter opens her back window and a second window isn't opened, but haven't noticed it when all windows are closed. It is amazing how painful it can get though.
  5. The auto assist parking is not available on any of the 2011 edge's because of the above mentioned steering. There is a back up cam with guide lines and sensors, but it doesn't actually park for you.
  6. Nope. I love mine. I am still on version 1.8 - got mine last September and have over 10k miles on it. The only way I would give it back would be to get the explorer - the new one wasn't out when I got mine. My system works great and love driving the car every day.
  7. It truly isn't uncomfortable now - as long as I pull my pony tail down, but I have turned the passenger side one around. The driver side my husband sits in and it really never bothers him. It did take a couple of weeks to get the seat completely set correctly, but now it is great.
  8. Bummer - but thanks for letting me know. it sure seemed like a good idea.
  9. Definately not a a car for high pony tails. I have to pull mine low when I get in. Someone switched the back to the front and they are much happier. I haven't done this yet as without the pony tail, I am fine.
  10. My hubby is 6 2 and I have never heard him say anything about this. He loves to drive it. I am 5 8 and don't have any complaints. There are so many adjustments that can be made.
  11. ACCCKKKKKKK - ok, I am better now. Going back to balancing my books.
  12. wow - so I just went and looked... yep scary - I will stick with new or active content. I didn't even realize all that was going on Wilson. sigh, yeah that's me...
  13. We won't have the sunroof open that often or for that long. But the sun can be intense up here in the summer. It is an unreal experience. We had 19 1/2 hours of daylight yesterday. Crazy!
  14. I have really enjoyed driving with the sunroof open on our few really nice days here in Anchorage. But yes, I have thought about needing to add sunblock when it is open. Our sun is intense up here in the summer isn't it? Happy solstice.
  15. Really? I just click on the new content.... saves me looking around. Well, welcome back either way. How is your system working these days?
  16. Sounds like your module may be bad. Good luck.
  17. Reorg? At work? I was thinking you haven't been around.
  18. I use the pockets on the door till I get home. Or my purse.
  19. It isn't opening while driving - it is that it didn't fully close before they started the car and he drove off with it open. We are saying it is easy to open the gate with the fob in your pocket when you are just in range of your car.
  20. I reset all my counts every tank - the MPG reader and trip one.
  21. Ours still stays on Green - though I haven't seen it for a month or two. Another month or two I will be seeing it all to much again. Goodness I love summer in Alaska!
  22. The Auto setting is just that when it becomes dark enough the headlights will kick on. There is a sensor in the middle of your dash. There are no constantly on daytime running lights unfortunately.
  23. I am getting a whole new windshield with only 40 buck out of my pocket. I keep my insurance set for a 100 deductible so that is the most I have to pay. Tend to get a new one every year or two in our truck and this seems like it will be the same way.
