I haven't tried this particular remote start - but if you are just wondering in general how they are, they are fantastic. I don't know how we got through winters without them. I was surprised to see how long it took before they start marketing for AC use in hot weather. We have had then in AK for about 10 years. LOVE THEM.

I haven't heard of anyways to bypass these safety measures. Let your passenger buy an Ipad or similar device then they can do these things without it being a distraction to the driver.

Tomorrow will be exactly two months from the day I did the order - It will be hard to order a car again - I am not good at the waiting either, but really excited to have exactly what I want in the car and nothing extra. And the color I want - I am glad I did it, since there is only two others that I know of anywhere close to me and neither have what I want so... trade offs. You will survive. The rest of us have - and some ordered way at the beginning of summer.
