Yeah Wilson - this is my first time with HID lights and I am loving them. I won't go back to regular lights willingly...
-
every now and then it come on, but it it like a scratched record the way it cuts in and out. I have the same issue a bunch of people are saying about things not being fully subscribed and I haven't decided if it is actually worth trying to get it fixed.
-
I was surprised it took so long to market it that way too - we have been using them up here for 10 years - seems like they have only gotten popular "outside" the last few. I would certainly be using it to cool it down if it was to actually get hot.
-
Get the limited. The remote start alone is worth it.
-
Ordering now.... Great find

Who is going to be our resident hacker? how come no one has Jailbroken this car yet?
-
I don't think I have found any HD channels up here yet. My car is too smart for Alaska... boo hoo...
-
I have even grown to like it. doesn't look cheesy - probably still wouldn't pick it, but not big on doing Mod's.
-
If it worked in Alaska I would try it and see, but stuck with over the air and iPod... Which is really pretty fine.

Congrats on so many levels. I am guessing that car won't be done but there will be a proud grandparent. -

Ok - it is cold today - 22f this morning - only 32 at lunch time - went out to car - fan kicks on like hurricane.... warm fast! that is what I am talking about. Every time I get in this car I like it more. -
Ok - tried it at lunch but the car didn't actually auto start - moved it and will try again at quiting time.

Back-up method of starting: Your IA key uses a radio frequency signal to communicate with your vehicle and authorize your vehicle to start when you press the START/STOP button and apply the brake pedal. If excessive radio frequency interference is present in the area, or if the battery in your IA key is low, it may be necessary to start your car by inserting the IA key in the back-up slot, located in the center console. Insert the IA key into the slot with buttons facing out and with key ring up. After inserting the IA key into the back-up slot, use the START/STOP button and brake pedal to start your vehicle as usual. The vehicle should respond normally as long as the IA key is in the back-up slot. Once the vehicle is started, the IA key can be removed from the back-up slot, if desired. That is my guess at least - I am thinking I won't know till the battery dies...
-
it is directly under the lighter charger thing - about two fingers wide and a long as the fob - I think you would just slide the fob in....
-
I found the secret spot in the center console today - I would have never even thought to look for something like this - I probably just would have taken the other car to the store to get batteries to the fob... which brought up another question this morning. I don't see any screws on the fob to get it open to change batteries on it. hum.....

Well said. My brother just bought an Audi and we are constantly one uping the other on who got the nicer car - he's in Washington and I am in AK so it will be a while before we see each other, but it is fun for now. -
It doesn't say a temp - but it is 22 today here and I turned it on after dropping the kid off at daycare - the car was already warm, but thought I would do a test. I have mine auto for everything and the wind was blowing hard in the car. I am not sure if the seat warmers were on since they had been warm already. I will see what the temp is when I leave at lunch - might do a starter test run....

Oh that will make me feel so much better if you really mean that Wilson! I really had to ask him what the point was... Of course a friend got one of the government motors equinox things and we can't even find her battery under the hood - you have to take it to the dealer to have the battery replaced.

Would have had us for a minute if you said Volkswagen... I looked at the Teagun too, but I figured that with two types of fuel - one was getting the wrong one at some point. to expensive to take that chance. -

Yeah - I am pretty sure this is Microsoft's chance to get back at the iPhone in general. My dad's first comment was about it being powered by microsoft and needing to be rebooted often. So far I have been pretty lucky. I do notice that I do sometimes have to stop and just let it think for a few minutes, but it catches up and I can move on. Over all - I love it. -
There is a key hole on the driver door and to lock the child locks you use the actual key rather than flip the little switch. Another year or so and I think I might be able to safely leave the kid's door without the safety lock on. Of course - I went the other way and couldn't even think why there was a key at all - hubby looked at me like I was an idiot (which I was being) he wanted to know how I was getting in the car to pop the hood if the battery was dead. duh. Almost had to just say I wasn't smart enough for this car. I got over it.
-
oooooooo - I hadn't thought about that - better find this spot....

Yep - I got the wine with black too - love it. I think I would have liked them all. I really wanted the Mediterranean blue, but wanted the Limited more. Make sure you check out the 2011 edge section - lots of info there.

Yes, it seems like it has been all over the board for delivery/pick up. I knew more about the car and it's tech then the sales guy did. In his defense - he only had two days to check it out (mine was the first one they ordered and received). He tried to go through a ford check list, but it was pretty high level. I am pretty sure if we had acted like I wanted to spend longer there he would have done more. My husband is rather techie and so he got most of the technical stuff set up while we were waiting on paperwork that should have been done before we got there but whatever (I am ready for amazon style car shopping). I would be on the look out for any major things - damage from shipping (they should have already found), someone had sharp edges on their vista roof where they cut a finger, make sure your SD nav card works. Make sure you go with lots of time and a full stomach. You could be there hours if you want your dealer to really go over stuff. But enjoy - and post pics.
