  1. That sounds very frustrating - good to know it takes about an hour. But remember before you get really worked up - this is your dealer having issues and not communicating with you correctly - not Ford. I know I am not looking forward to dealing with a dealership for these updates so I will probably wait a week or so to make sure they really know what to do. I also don't have anything that I feel I need to rush to fix though. Good luck and at least the got the parts ordered so your chair can get fixed.
  2. Richy - remember that while people are reporting issues - it really has been about 10 - 15 people on this forum with problems. There are plenty of us (knocking on wood) that haven't had these issues. There was also a new update posted last night that the dealer has to install. Hopefully that will fix known issues.
  3. It shows up for me... I will try to get to a dealer this week.
  4. Make your dealer earn their commission. They can get the same information that you can find online, but the people who do it online do it on their own time and with no pay. Your dealer should earn something.
  5. Some one did - I think the thread is somewhere in the 2011 section. I think it came down to a programming glitch with no fix, but not sure.
  6. They are eventually going to have to learn on someone's car - I am pretty sure I am still the only owner here in AK - I know of one or two that dealers have gotten in.
  7. GOOD... Now I would tell my kids to Hug and make up - but I think we are good. You both have valid points -
  8. My goodness - you are like little boys bickering over who broke the toy when you where both pulling on it. Yes, MFT has bugs - Microsoft was involved, Yes, certain cell phones have issues or can't do everything that others can - they are different cell phones with different capabilities, it is to be expected that they would then work differently. I would say with the "poll" showing almost equal results on the Iphone - I would say that it isn't the phone causing the issues with MFT. If you are unhappy with the software/hardware, give ford and your dealer a chance to try and fix it. NOTHING will ultimately be fixed from this site.
  9. I have my set to GPS and the daylight savings options both set to off and have never had an issue with my clock being wrong. I am really glad that they have the option to turn off the daylight savings feature. I bought an alarm clock a while back that automatically changes on the correct day ~ from before they changed when the correct day is. I have to fix it now 4 times a year instead of just 2.
  10. Yep - my priority is a quiet drive and if that means disney - so be it. I wouldn't get to listen to what I want for long anyway. Have you contacted your dealer about your issues Wilson? Just wondering what they are telling you.
  11. Yep it is upgraded to current IOS. I only played with it a few minutes today before my daughter got fed up and wanted her music on. I will try again another time.
  12. I see in the dead of winter trying to get the key out of the fob to unlock the gas cap. Definitely not something i will be getting.
  13. The only things I have not been successful with my iphone 3gs is streaming Pandora via bt - but was able to get basic commands to work to stream music from same phone via bt. I also can't get the contact photo's to work, but haven't invested any time working on resizing... don't really care. I mostly use my old nano connected by usb. I have never had to pull a fuse - did a reboot once because someone said that might fix the contact photo. (it didn't) knocking on lots of wood.
  14. The sport has paddles - the limited has the button on the shifter.
  15. Very nice - I love the white and black that you don't get with the sport.
  16. Bug your dealer - they are earning a commission on selling this car and not having to work at all on the sale.
  17. the Lincoln version does... not ford.
  18. Oh I knew I was going AWD no matter what anyone said... got to dodge those moose (YES I AM KIDDING) Yeah - we were knocking slush out of the wheel wells and looked up... pretty funny to me.
  19. I think the decision has been reached that studded tires w/ill not be needed. The all weathers have been handling great and I am loving hearing other cars spin their tires at lights. (give it more gas that will help...hehehehe) But after our drive home last night in very wet snow/rain mix we noticed a fun spot that snow collects... Actually excited for snow and driving this year. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1675844261399&set=a.1675844181397.2093913.1396251523
  20. There is a thread somewhere - but honestly it alludes me where now. The general answer is at this time, no - it isn't as simple as buying the card (don't just buy one off ebay, it won't work), but there is a possibility that later down the road it might be able to be added. There is something that has to be done with the unit as a whole. Other than that - welcome and enjoy.
  21. Really? Are you talking about the body cover locking or the inside cap? My experience with the outside locking or latching is that they get frozen shut then you are just pissed out in the snow trying to get gas in your car to get back out of the freezing snow. I am glad it doesn't lock or latch!
  22. Just drove 20 miles in very wet rain/snow storm and no sensor error on ours.
