I don't have my manual with me because my Edge is in the shop, but I do remember reading and they also told me at the dealersihp that you need an oil change every 5000 Miles.

So I have had some issues with my transmission jerking in low speeds. I called my dealer and they told me that "oh it probably needs the fluids checked" So I figured I would take it in at my first oil change. So I took it in on Monday and explained to them what the issue has been. They said they would take a look at it to see if they could fix it. I received a phone call from the dealership yesterday and they told me that they have ordered a new transmission for my vehicle. Because the Edge is so new, they don't make parts for it yet and it is better just the replace the transmission. I'm excited and hope that it resolves all the issues. :happy feet: I love my Edge and can't wait to get it back, particularly because i'm driving a crampy little Ford Focus as my rental vehicle. Argghhh.

Has anyone expiernece a hard shift in lower gears? I usually expierence this when I first start driving. When it shifts, there is a jerking motion. I have the SEL Model, FWD.
