If you upgrade your brake pads, you will stop sooner. Which means a shorter distance from when your foot first engages (and presses) the brake pedal til the time your vehicle comes to a complete stop.

Very good point! Not to mention the fact that many of as, as soon on this site already, have different opinions on what looks good. I would have to have my hands tied when it comes to what add-ons I can have. I like having the freedom to choose.

I only had one of the two rubber inserts, so I told the salesman I wanted to look at the Nav Screen again (I didn't get the Nav) - sat in the other Edge and took an insert from that one.

I am definitely planning to attend the next FROFOAHTATIYUOTTWTITI (pronounded Fro-Titti for those whose non- Sherlockian minds) however, your very astute explaination did leave out one minor thing: An explaination of the phrase - "all Clear" My first thought is there was a termination of a Tsunami warning. However, reflecting on my days growing up in Southern California, I remember that Canoga Park wasn't a hot-bed for tsunamis. Since moving from there, I haven't seen the Weather Channel's Jim Cantore reporting "live from Canoga Park." I can't help but wonder if his usage of "all Clear" is to mean that he received an "all clear" (A.O.K., Two Thumbs Up, excellent, great, fine, perfect, satisfactory, etc) from Galpin as to the actual oil-change-requirment as necessitated by the owner's manual. Perhaps the next time he joins us here upon his activitation of the tawdry web that is the Internet, he could expound the true meaning behind the phrase, "all Clear."

I have the cargo system and it actually is quite handy. I have my California duster, a flash light, jumper cables, emergency first aid kit, and two bottles of water in it.

Several years ago a friend of mine bought a used F150. He was at lunch one day and when he walked out to his car, the police were all around it. Seems the local PD was doing a random sweep of parking lots with their drug dogs and one of them alerted on his truck. Long story short, 3 lbs of cocaine tucked up in his two front wheel wells. Turns out the truck belonged to a drug dealer who was arrested by the PD. The truck was confisicated and sold at auction. The guy the bought it at auction sold it to my friend. After an hour or so of sweating it out trying to persuade the local constabulatory that the drugs weren't his, a different police officer arrived on scene who recognized the name of the guy who sold it to my friend as someone who buys a lot of vehicles at the different auctions. They did take the truck for a couple of days and gave it a good, FINAL, once over to make sure they didn't miss anything else.

When I lived in Columbia, the same thing happened. Oh...different problem. Never mind.

I am eligible for the Z plan so I test drove the Edge and the CX7 and CX9. I had a Mazda RX8 and like Mazdas but, I don't know....the CX7 & 9 just didn't feel right. For me, the handling and "feel" of the Edge was far superior to the Mazda. The weight isn't that different between the two but I felt more ...grounded...with the Edge.

The Nitro is on a Liberty platform. Very uncomfortable ride IMO. Plus, there has already been a safety recall issued due to the engine stalling for no reason. Acadia - It is a fancy Saturn Outlook. Stick with the Edge. You won't be sorry.

I'm sure they will update..their...site. There is another post somewhere talking about the MF exhaust price..I think it was about $600.00 or so. I think they were trying to figure out how to post a sound clip too.
