  1. Ok...so we all know that it is best to check the tire pressure before you have driven the car. And...we all know that you shouldn't drive on under or over inflated tires. Now people are filling their tires with nitrogen. There are a few advantages to this of course; nitrogen works better when the humidity is higher. Has anyone used Nitrogen in their tires? For those who live in colder environments, what about air in the winter and nitrogen in the summer?
  2. My signal drops sometimes when I drive under a canopy of trees. Everywhere else is fine. Radio signals are subject to all kinds of conditions. Atmospherics, sun spots, line of sight from transmitter (satellite in space) to receiver (little antenna at the rear of your car). Now, when you are sitting in the middle of a mall or sports arena parking lot - nothing above you but sky - and the signal drops, you could have a small problem.
  3. Do you have your Dash lights "turned up?"

  5. The little recirculate button. Make sure it isn't pressed. This way the air comes in from the outside. If recirculate is on, it recirculates the air inside the car.
  6. Welcome. Post pics when you are all finished!
  7. If you picked the name Carson after the Carson on Queer Eye for The Straight Guy then... ...you ready for it.... you still named it after a girl!! HAHAHAHAHHAA LMAO.... I just kill myself sometimes.
  8. Mine is a female and nearly not old enough to wear a bra yet. Besides, when it gets to that point, I'll let my wife handle it.
  9. IMHO - every car has different brakes. My parents are in town and have rented a Ford 500. I do the driving when we all go out and I hate the brakes. As 007 posted, you just have to be aware of what is going on around you. The best brakes in the world (and best driver) in the world will only do as well as they can if they are aware of what is going on around them. I have taken many driving courses - from Government-trained evasive driving courses in Europe, to "race" type classes (mini-F1 cars) and I am very confident in the braking ability of my Edge. I make sure there is ample room all around me. I am always aware of the sides of the road. I always glance in the rear view mirror to see how close (and what is going on behind) the car is back of me is. The reason I am confident in the brakes on my Edge is because I am very confident in my ability as a driver.
  10. If the speed limit is 65, do you worry about going 66? You are really over analyzing this.
  11. The place that mounts your tires and wheels should be able to do it.

  19. I had Conti's (Continentals). I have heard of Michelins and Hankooks. What is the brand of tires you got? Also..go to the same dealer and walk around the lot. See what tires are on the other Edge's. If there is more than one dealer in your town, check them also.
  20. Quite a few people here have complained about the air flow of the AC system (for the driver). I noticed that adjusting the steering wheel helps with this also.
