Ahhh...Now I see. I do like those BAMR open, music on loud, smell-of-the-night-air drives. Did that in Florida a few months ago (July) right after I bought the Edge. Purposely went out driving at night just to smell the ocean air. Reminded me of my younger days in SoCal.

I took my 8 through the Dragon a couple of years ago. Beautiful ride..wore my ass out but..beautiful. I think if I went though again, but with the Edge, it would definitely be for sightseeing.

While in reverse, if you hear the steady beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep, you should probably stop. (you can disable the Park assist in the menu but if you do, you may crash into something behind you)

FWD? Damn. I was so hoping it would be AWD. I have a FWD and don't have the problem. Yet. The overdrive issue. 4th or 5th? In between perhaps..while shifting between the two. This may not help but - does it happen when there is a fast acceleration between 4th and 5th? Or just a smooth, slow accerlation? Just trying to pin this down for you.

Maybe I'm over analyzing this complaint but...or then again, maybe I'm just confused. I know you all aren't saying that automatic transmission vehicles aren't suppose to move if you don't have your foot on the brake. You mention above that the review stated that he "let his roll forward by mistake while testing..." Well, if the car was in drive and his foot wasn't on the brake, of course the car will roll? If I'm on an incline at a red light, and my foot isn't on the brake - and I'm in "D" - my car is going to roll if the incline is angled enough.

The speedo will only be off if you change to larger/smaller. If you are using the same size tires that came with the vehicle when you purchased it, then your speedo is fine.
