No, I talking about the seal leak that is making that burning smell, everyone has been talking about.

I was wondering if I can wait untill spring to take my Edge in for the seal leak. I can put up with the smell untill then. Will it hurt anything if I dont do it right away, I have had it since last July. I just dont want to give up my Edge during the Snow season, it is fantastic in the snow! Thanks, Janis

I live on a hill that can be trickey in the winter time. I have always put my vehicals in 2nd gear to go down the hill (Explorer, F-150), Well today I put the Edge into low and I dont think it lilks being in low at all. It reved up the engine so bad, I thought it was going to explode. I was only going 20mpg. Has anybody else used low gear yet?

My sirus radio kept on losing it signal today for no apparent reason.

Since the day I picked up my Edge the Trac light is on, but it says "off" . Should I have that light on? PS. I live in Buffalo, NY (snow)

I have the cargo liner from Weathertech and it is awesome. Well worth the money.

The reflection was anoying, before I spend a pretty buck on some excellent sunglasses (maui Jims), now the glare is completly gone, even though I have to wear them when the sun is not out. I once thought my a/c was the pits, untill I checked the Duel control, the passenger side was set at at 75 :wacko: now with it set at 60, my car cools down quite nice. But I do keep the BAMR shade closed on sunny days. As far as the noise in the tranny, I dont have that.

No, it is not a dead animal smell, more like a chemical odor.

I have a awful smell coming in when I use the fan without the A/C on. Has anyone else noticed this?

Those pop-ups are nice, but I really want all the goodies with it, shower, A/C etc. I am probalby just going to have to use my husband F-150. But his truck doesnt have all the goodies my Edge does.

I have been looking for the weight of the car. Thanks. I really dont have much cargo, it is just me and my dog for weekends, we go to agility events. If The total weight is over 8000 lbs, then I can find a camper around 3000 lbs? I went to look at campers yesterday and the only things under 2000 were tiny tiny little pop-ups. I sure would like to find something bigger than a closet.

I am clueless on this towing stuff. I have a SEL AWD without the towing package. I will be putting on a hitch and I want to tow a camper. I am trying to find the Maximum weight of the camper I can get. I looked in the book and it says only 2000 lbs? Well, nothing weighs only 2000 lbs, that I want to get. Am I reading the book right?

Go to Weathertechcanada.com I bought the Floor liners, not the mats. The liners are nicer and more coverage.

There is nothing like custom ones that fit your Edge. I got mine from Weathertech.com The fit perfect and look really nice. I got the cargo liner also. They may be a little expensive, but they really do a good job of keeping your car clean.

I am already thinking about winter tires, being in snow country. I have searched for P245/60R18 snow tires and cant find any. Any suggestions? I live near Buffalo, ny and we have lots of hills that need good traction.

I really want my front windows tinted, but I dont want the hassle from the cops. Anyone here from New York and thier experience with tinted windows?

sorry, not to answer your question, but was the auto headlights a option. I dont have that. I thought I had everything on my Edge SEL+.

I have never had a vehicle that can roll backwards this much on a hill while I am in drive. After I brought my new Edge home, I decided to see what people where saying about the roll, well it sure does roll and it doesnt stop rolling. How does a transmission in drive roll backwards?

The H3 had lots of troubles, had to replace the rear universal joint at 30,000 miles, the computer kept on screwing up on the 4 wheel drive. Last winter I was without 4 wheel drive, traction control and stability trac for a while. I had 3 Ford Explorers and F-150 before and never never had any problems.

I am so excited, I cant wait to get my new Edge. I really lucked out. I ordered a Creame Brulee AWD SEL with the Vista Roof, black interior, some some other options, but instaed They delivered a SEL+ loaded with everything! I didnt think DH would go for it, but after some whining, he said yes. I cant believe it. I am trading in my H3 Hummer, so I am hoping it does good in snow, because we get lots of it, being in Buffalo, NY. Does anybody have experience with thier Edge in the snow? How was it?
