Whatever I'm just saying what iTunes is telling me. It gives me an option to format my iPod Mac or PC. In a Mac's disk utility, "Mac OS" is a format option as well.

My old iPod is formatted as MAC and works just fine. I would hope that the Touch software update handles the various issue with USB drives.

I just downloaded version 3 of the Edge manual today. I didn't bother downloading the Touch manual...I'll wait on that one.

The 2012 Edge manual only discusses the height adjustment. It looks like you will need to push a button on both stems to remove the head rest. Some people have turned them around so they lean backwards. UPDATE I checked the 2012 MKX manual and it looks the same as the Edge. It states:

I still maintain Navigon on my iPhone just in case but overall, my Edge's Nav has been "OK" ( I don't use it much) It's nice to have the navigation integrated with other features. I hope they get the address book to work with Nav.

There is also a spare fuse in the pannel. You should try loading the reboot app onto a USB and use it instead of messing with the fuse.

Any idea what percentage of 2011 Edge owners are SyncMyRide users? Any idea what percentage of SyncMyRide users were able to download the last update w/o problems. Ford can't expect that all owners have compatible computers with internet access. Sending out a $2 USB stick is much cheaper than paying the dealerships to update the systems. ...you mentioned "good PR" I've seen no PR from Ford. Ford has made no attempt to keep me posted on what is going on. They know they have a problem but are not communicating with this owner.

Just a thought....In my Limited, I can lower my seats. Have you lowered your seats? The lower seats do make it a bit easier to get in.
