Jackson is a family member. I rescued him 5 years ago. He was found wondering the streets of Oklahoma City. I don't have much of a yard so he's an indoor dog (he loves the AC) but we go on several walks a day. I recently rescued a cat and now those two guys are best friends.

I really don't care. I traded in a Camry Hybrid with an average of 30MPG in town. I am sacrificing so I can get the latest tech.

A screen flashes then ends up being blank. I did notice that one setting was for DUN before it went blank -
I thought I was upgrading the software via USB and then I tried to upload the status of the the update on mySync. It errored out. so I chatted with Ford support and was told there are no updates for the 11 Edge. My Sirus worked as soon as I got in the car. I assume the dealership activated it (the one thing the dealership got right) If yours isn't working, I would first suspect the dealership as setting it up wrong.

Living in "the hood". I've learned that standard vehicle security may not be enough. Meet my "Jackson" security system. 225lbs of BARK!! No false alarms... guaranteed.

I was amazed at how UN detailed my brand new edge was. The more I learn (from you guys) the more I'm happy that a 18yr old kid didn't "try" to detail my car at the dealership. I rather be the guy cleaning the stickers off of the car and not have the kid burn his signature into my paint with his side grinder! -
"take 2 aspirin and call me in the morning" I hope they get it working for you.

I saved a couple of jpg files to a USB and upload with no problem. You do need to have the photos in size/format that is acceptable. Pay attention to the warning/ info message. It tells you the size and format tat you need. Search the other threads in this forum. I provided more info. I also decide that it was a waste of time. I couldn't default to the wallpaper

I was kinda surprised by how i noticed the finish on this car yesterday. I was leaving a sporting event and noticed the great paint job on a 10 yr old cady. It was spotless. I was very impressed. While driving away, I noticed a sticker on the trunk...a sticker for an auto detailer. Auto detailing does make a difference! I'm a convert now. I also noticed a cool black suburu wtx that had been treated like my previous cars. Swirls and scratches everywhere. A nice compare contrast. While I may not be as fanatical about the care of my car as I should be ( I'm getting there though), I now know what I should and shouldn't do. Thanks to all for sharing your knowledge in the detailing area -

I went to my favorite do it yourself spraywash today to use the Vacumn. I noticed that they added a hand held blow dryer in one of the bays. In the past I would use the no-spot de-ionized rinse and not worry about drying (still learning about car care). It may be handy in the winter. Has anyone seen and/or used these at your local car wash? It's kinda scary to me. If I used it would it end up sand blasting my car? -

I bought a quart of poor boys spray and wipe. That stuff is awesome!!! I can see now that I will need to order a 55 gallon barrel of it. Oh and I also decided that a person can never have enough MF towels. No sense in rubbing my car with a dirty towel. Better to swap for a clean towel than not. Edit: My shipment of clay, polish & sealer is due to arrive Thursday. -

A grit guard in each bucket makes sense though -

Canuck, You mentioned putting the grit guard in the soap bucket. Detailedimage tells me to put it in the rinse bucket. Which is it? -
I think mine did go black once but rebooted after I restarted the car. Curious, does the right 4" display function?
-
I thought I had found a way (start the car with a software upgrade USB stick plugged in) but I was wrong. My touch has locked up twice and both times the system rebooted after I shut off the car and restarted. Or Pull fuse 7 located on left kick panel. It's tough to get to but it works.

The only info sent to the car is the destination address. Kinda useless -

Whoa dude this is just too complicated for the general population. My iPad has the 3G option and I'll let it connect to the world on it's own. I tried connecting with my jail broken iPhone 4 and then my ipad to it ...yada yada...but it was such a hassle, I gave up. If the update ever comes out for the mytouch browser then I'll deal with the wifi setup in the edge. -

I hear ya Kirby. If I had only one box of wine in me I would have caught that. This iPad I'm using does a lot or auto correction for me. Too funny -
I bet you save a few bucks because you are in oakville's back yard. My train ride to Kansas cost a few bucks

It is too funny! I didn't realize it (BAMR) was an official term. I noticed this week that my complete roof is glass. It had to be a big engineering feat to pull this off. Nothing else like it that I know of. I love it

Exactly! we shouldn't except "no" as an answer when it comes to mods. By the way, I have a speedometer that tops out at 140 mph!?!? Is there a governor that will prevent me from going over 90 or so? Can I actually obtain 140? Holy crap! I spent big bucks to drive a NASCAR to 140 mph at Lowes speedway. Can I do that on Interstate 70 in my edge??? Edit: I'll try it later. This second box of wine has got me kinda messed up! -
Whoo hoo I'd vote for tomorrow!

Jpelt Ya. All the infrastructure is there and anything is configurable, but All these headaches because you didn't want leather?? Geez. I got leather because it is so easy to care for and dog hair doesn't stick to it. When your spending boo coo $$$ on a car, Whats a few more for leather? Edit: Unless you are allergic to the "leather" used on the edge -

I was pleasantly surprised to see it integrate with the SD Nav.
