I hear ya. It's not like mine was caked in mud and I couldn't see any damage. I think the real reason they wanted me to wait is so they could drive it around and play with the tech. It was the first one they had seen.

I was anxious to take delivery and my salesman was wanting me to wait a day so they could "clean it up". Boy am I glad I didn't let him. All they had time to do was to remove the packing material.

Right. My first two updates would not allow me to upload the status to SyncMyRide. Since then, they replaced the 1.3 software with this status checker.

A few weeks ago, SyncMyRide had the software available for me to load it onto a USB drive. I used it twice to "update" my system. They have since taken it down and now they have what they call "status checker". I've installed that once (and uploaded the results). I wonder if the process of installing the software from a USB is in essence rebooting the system. It's sure a bunch easier than pulling the fuse. Have you looked at you sync install history lately? I wonder if the dealership's update shows up. Attached is what my history shows. I installed the status checker on 10/19 and the car was built 9/8

Ha! Pentium II. that's a good one. The manual says to hit once to answer and hold down to ignore.

ACC mode can be entered by pressing the Start button w/o your foot on the brake. (not sure but you may need to hit the start button twice)

You'll love it. Just take some time to learn the Sync/Touch system. Don't try to set it up while driving! I bet your's was hard to find on a lot because I think dealers are afraid to stock the limited models. I've notice my local dealer has 1 Sport and several basic SELs

I don't get many calls but when I have, I've resulted to hitting the answer/ignore button on the screen because the steering wheel button didn't seem to do anything. The same way with hanging up

So, you've confirmed that there are no updates. (my chat with Sync support today would only say no ETA on any updates) I had the pairing issue a couple of times. The code would flash then say failed. I fixed this by pulling the fuse 29. That fixed the pairing but as time went on, the BT Audio begins to fail and I still have to force the iPhone to re-connect to get it to notice the SYNC in audio mode

Did you get the problems resolved or are they still happening.

Well, I was able to see my contact photos and addresses on the Touch after connecting the BB Curve. Too bad the phone book can't be shared with my iPhone.

This is why I'm dragging my feet and putting off taking my car in to get "fixed" They should have something like an Apple Genius Bar to handle the tech
