A big feature of the HD is the ability to rip a CD directly to the HD. I never used or wanted it but many Ford owners have come to love it only to see it go away.

I doubt if the HD will come back. It's gone the way of the 8 track and cassette. I added the cd to that same category a little early. The cd is the next to go.

You're right. It's too bad the simple aux interface was deleted for 2011. I guess they ran out of options

At least one problem with these steps. The 11 Edge has no CD player Update: I was wrong. I saw the cd player after I pulled my head out of my a$$

Touch is distracting if you are not familiar with it. I spent a few days in my driveway getting familiar with it and I think it helped. Most reviewers don't have that time so I can understand why they say it is distracting. It is...for new drivers.

I checked this afternoon and the latest update is no longer available for me. I'm taking the Edge in tomorrow for the big update. Maybe the latest update will show up after I get the first update applied.

Has anyone seen what this update addresses? Did the ambient lighting interface get fixed? Do Ford owners still see Lincoln logo?

The Sport has a body kit on it that is not cut out for the hitch. I guess you could mount a factory hitch and cut a whole in the lower skirt That would like like crap! :wacko:

I have the new update listed for me to install and I still need to get the dealer to install the last update. I wonder what the new update is.

Hey Hey! No rinse to the rescue again! Wanting to rinse the white sodium off of my black Edge, I drove past several busy car washes today. I ended up in my driveway with the No rinse wash. No Rinse wash is some awesome stuff. Now I can go to the office with a clean car

Delete the history on the phone. Sync is displaying the info from your phone

This is awesome weather in NE KS! Record breaking 72 (just before the freezing rain tomorrow) I used the time to play Hooky and do a no rinse wash in my driveway. That stuff is great!

So, for what it's worth, I added some favorite addresses from my contacts on the iPhone. In the car, I connect to Services via voice. Say "directions" then say the favorite name. Destination slowly downloads. I guess it may have a use at some point. The traffic is pretty slick. Real slick on the iPad (kinda buggy tho)

Replacing the module? ...I wonder if they "bricked" the modules because they are not following the procedure to update
