Speed Limit is displayed on one of the screens but there are no settings for having it notify you about speeding.

There are apps/devices out there that track the location of traffic cameras. My Ford Touch isn't one of them.

Looks like it is updated. I've never seen the install process but but I wonder if the tech selected the wrong options.

Other people have had these symptoms. I think the tech should be given another chance to update you system correctly.

I can relate to your frustration. I was (and still am) very disappointed to find out that not all features worked on my new car. I went so far as to buy a Windows Phone 7 device just to get the advertised features. The features were very cool. However, not cool enough to justify using a crappy Windows phone. I returned the phone in 3 days. I do think that Ford has realized that owners are upset. One technology podcast recently changed their Ford ads to say "...and if you have a windows 7 phone you get .(features)..." I wish they had been saying that to begin with. It would have helped to manage my expectations. I hope the MAP bluetooth protocol will be included in a future iPhone update because the features that it provides are very cool!

The traffic is updated via the Sirius Travel Link feature. It warns of problems and offers to re-route you. I've had no problems with the voice recognition of the Nav

Correct Kirby. The Windows Phone 7 has the Bluetooth protocol that is needed to do Contact Photos and Audible SMS. I listen to the TWIT podcasts and I've noticed that when Leo LaPorte does the Ford ads, he now states that "..and with the Samsung Focus (windows phone7), you get audible SMS..." This is new. In the past they never qualified that feature in their ads

Did you get the latest update? It should address all the issues you mentioned.

Have you had the BD update installed? Do you have the BE update available for you to download? If so, you may be able to do it. It showed on my sync site for one day then they pulled it. It sounds like some people, who had had the BD update applied, were able to install the BE on their own. However, I saw on the Sync forum that the BE update was never meant for the public to install.
