  1. I have an iPhone4. I've seen this name before when I selected the "Other Devices" button on Touch. I was never able to get it to work though. This time, I followed the normal procedure to pair and this is what showed up.
  2. UPDATE: I tried to pair to my phone during lunch today and Sync showed up on my BT list as "BCM4325D1 26 MHz" instead of "Sync" Odd. but it works!
  3. FYI: Google only sends destination to Sync. The route is created on your Edge.
  4. On Jan. 5th, the dealer installed Sync update (2.4) Feb. 6th, Sync quit connecting to my phone and refuses to reconnect. I un-paired the device in hopes of a re-pair fixing the problem. Now I can't get Sync to pair. I did a master reset. That was no help. I guess I'll resort to pulling a Fuse! This is a Pain! I just might ask for a new module.
  5. Sounds like your system is in need of the Touch update that makes the sytsem work reliably. If only there was one!
  6. To use photos, Ford is using a Blue Tooth feature that only a couple of phones support. If you had a POS Windows phone, you would see contact photos
  7. There are two fuse boxes. One is under the hood and there is one behind the driver's kick panel. That is where the MyTouch Fuse 29 is.
  8. I've got the STD 18s and the tailend gets dirty. It's all about the shape of the edge and other CUVs. That's why use see the rear wipers on CUVs.
  9. -40c! WOW (i did the math) After checking the Sirius Travel Link Weather this morning, I don't think I'll need the block heater.. It's 250 degrees in Topeka now!
  10. Ha! Winter is hell down in the lower 48 &.... what is a heated garage??
  11. Wow this is an oddity! I did have the right screen go stupid once. It showed navigation heading, footer, & color but contents were audio. A fuse 29 pull helped it out This was all pre- 2.4 upfdate
  12. We had a semi bad snow storm that past couple of days. So, i worked from home & left the Edge parked in the drive. I went out this morning ...in the 0 F temp...to shovel my Edge out of the drifts. When i hit remote start, the Edge sounded pretty tight but finally kicked in and started. Wow, that was just 2 nights in sub zero temps and it's straining to start. Do any of you Canadian's use the block heater? And let's not leave out Choff. How do you keep your Edge warm in the Northern US.
  13. Yes...but is your bump big enough?? :shades: Didn't I read here that there were two sizes?
  14. The installation guide for the lighting states that the cup holder lights should be located at 7:00 position to not distract driver Installation Guide
  15. Has yours ever rebooted since the update? Mine did once. I hate to pimp it but try pulling fuse 29 once
  16. I think my Edge has that but can't confirm as it is under a foot of new snow. I never noticed the noise before.
  17. The update is a big improvement and you will be happier after you get it. Touch still needs help though
  18. My thoughts exactly. I do like the ATC when i transition from snow to dry pavement. It keeps the tires from grabbing abruptly
  19. Well, I never went all the way as to activate it. on a related note... Did you hear that you can call ATT and get the unlimited plan? Just tell them you are going to Verizon! I wonder if someone with tethering could ask for unlimited??
  20. Icons are not on when I get in and start the car. Have you checked the settings on the left menu for remote start? Are seats enabled?
  21. Well, I've always had the unlimited and I've always had the option to tether (since ATT blessed us with the option). I've never used it but I have been prompted to sign up for it when I tried turning it on. This morning I tried and wasn't prompted. It appeared to be active.....UPDATE. When I tried to use it, I got the prompt to sign up
  22. I have the unlimited plan also and I think you're right. I have the option to turn it on. The next iOS update should have the ability to be a hotspot. If you have that feature, there's no need to mess with the include MyTouch.
  23. You're right. You should notice the absence of cold. I notice the heated seat more in the passenger seat where my friend's blanket sits. The blanket holds the heat in so it's more noticeable. Try running the car for 10-15 minutes
  24. Have your dealership do the upgrade again. This time, they should read the instructions on how to do it right!
  25. Issue 1: The iPad requires more power to charge than the USB port supplies. I purchased a Kensington PowerBolt chargerand it works great for the iPad Issue 2: You might try another iPhone cable. I have found that not all cable are created equally. Issue 3: I think you will hear the notification if the iPhone is the current audio source. There are notification settings on the Touch system for your phone. Not sure if any of them will make a difference though.
