I hear ya! The clusters are not totally in sync with the touch screen so I rarely use them. I just leave it on the compass display only because it looks cool.

What do you mean when you say "Crash"?...a "performing System Maintenance" reboot? Master Reset is not the same as the fuse pull or reboot. About the only thing reset used to do was trash all of your settings.

I've had a week or 2 with the upgrade and am glad there are some improvements. It is clear that Ford needs to still spend some time with the Blue Tooth Audio. It has it's good times but then it still has some pretty bad times. Touch forgets that it was playing BT Audio when I got out of the car and decides to give me a random source the next time I'm driving. While the randomly selected FM source is playing, I select BT (the button shows I selected BT) but FM is still playing. Once I get BT selected, the on screen controls may or may not work. I have to dig the phone out of my pocket and hit play on the phone. It's improved some but it is still a pain in the ass (and dangerous) to have to pull my phone out of my pocket and control my phone manually. I think the fact that the BT Audio source being on screen 2 of the sources kinda tells you where the priorities were in the design & development. Ford... Bring BT Audio to the main screen! Do I really need to see the CD audio source if there is nothing in the drive? (Same goes for A/V source) Do I need to see USB devices that aren't plugged in? Do I need to see the Sirius source if I'm not subscribed

I installed the update last week and am still waiting for the SD card. Not too many problems (mostly BT related) but today I had the Black Screen then finally the Performing Maintenance reboot. Looks like we still have issue with memory management

The main performance improvement Ford is bragging about is with the Nav system. Has anyone been able to test the Navigation yet? I wonder if the SD cards are delayed for a reason.

I can relate! Random audio source is still a issue for me. I really wished they can remove (or at least rearrange) the buttons for audio sources that aren't in use...ie No CD in player? Don't display the button. Not subscribed to Sirius? Give me the option to disable it! I really don't like having to go to screen 2 to get to my primary audio source...BT

Well, I've had some time with the upgrade and have noticed that it's still not perfect. The random audio source feature presented itself yesterday. Pandora in my pocket works much better but I think there still needs to be some MFT work around the area of BTaudio. If there is a problem with BT connecting, don't assume I want FM to play instead (at high volume). Voice recognition is still stupid. It still has a very hard time understanding the simplest commands.

I would like to see better synchronization between 4" cluster & touch screen. Currently they are 2 distinctly different systems.

FYI: there are 2 prompts near the start of the install that require you to hit a button so don't walk off until you see those. From there, it's hands off.

I'm not sure if you can classify me as 'brave' or stupid.... I downloaded and installed this morning. Seems to be working well. (during very short commute to work) The BlueTooth Audio meta data works much better. This make Pandora very appealing. I noticed that we can now have images actually display as wallpaper on the home screen. Looks like we can use artwork from MP3 device at the same time as GraceNote. There is an option to set which option has priority.

My factory cover is just fine for me.

Because it has to tolerate extremes it's OK that it's slow?? That doesn't make sense. It's still appears slow. I'm not comparing it to other in car systems. I'm comparing it to other systems that I use every day. You can argue all you want but I know what i feel.

Do you have a moon roof? Is it closed all the way?

None of the other gadgets I have have to 'pause' and think about switching to the next screen. Response time may seem better than the current version but it's still not up to par with modern gadgets. I can live with it if the bugs are fixed.

I've lost all faith in Cnet's Brian Cooley. He just regurgitated Ford's press release from 3 months ago. No news at all. I'd like to see a review from an owner that has had a chance to USE it in real life. I did notice that the swap between MFT functions (Nav, Phone, Audio, Climate) seemed slow.
