I purchased Tuf Shine from Detailed Image this past week. I just got around to applying the wonder product. The hardest part was getting 6 months of silicone tire shine washed off the tires. The Tuf Shine cleaner worked great...I just had to wash tires 4 times to get all the crap off. I put two coats of the clearcoat on and pledge to never use silicone spray again. Has anyone had any experience with this stuff? I do know it's no where near the mess that Black Magic is.

Two days in a row, I noticed my clock was off by 1 hr when I started 2001 edge. After the "for your safety..." announcement, the clock corrected itself. It is set to use gps for time sync. What is really weird... Is that the same day,my wall clock was off by one time zone Update: Is ford really using gps for time sync? Are they using the radio wave update from CO??

My 2011 is posessed. For the 3rd time in about 4 months, my driver seat moved foward when I parked and turned of ignition. It moved ALL the way forward!! I'm a big guy and it damn near suffocated me. I'm serious! I've had the seat module replaced once and it still goes stupid every week or so and will not move forward for the easy entry feature. But it does pick random times to move ALL the way forward when I'm in it. WTF! Let this be on the record...if I'm found suffocated in the kroger parking lot, sue Ford!

Just last weekend I had to go into clock settings turn off DST and then back on for the clock to show correct time. (It's been set to use GPS for time syncing)

Amazing that you are running 1.8! I was reading the sync forums and there are threads there discussing the need to unplug USB drives before turning off the car and/or starting it. I leave my iPod plugged in all the time. I was wondering if you leave anything plugged into your USB port. Could this be why some folks have problems and others don't?

The wallpaper feature is pretty limited. Once you figure out how to upload them in the correct format you then have to figure out how to set it as the wallpaper. Here's the kicker... The only way to see the wallpaper is to click into that home screen menu that supports the wallpaper. It's too bad we can't set it as the default home page.

I agree! That's why I've been suggesting scrapping this POS and do it in iOS or some other OS with low overhead

I have 2.7 (installed a few weeks ago) I noticed SyncMyRide tells me there is an update available.. There are important updates for your vehicle. Please click Get Updates. But nothing is there except the status update checker.

There is also no indication that they are working on the problem. Ford has made very little attempt to keep the owners informed on what is actually going on with the bug ladened Touch system. I think they need to admit the issues to the general public and keep us updated on what they are working on. This would help to manage the owners' expectations.

The last service writer I got told me an hour. I thought he was crazy but didn't say anything. He later called me and told me it was a 2 hr procedure. That was more realistic.. Good luck! Fridays are sometimes crazy in the service dpt.

I think this is a sirius issue...ha, i just made a funny, For a few days, Sirius was telling me it was something like 200 degrees this winter. Radar map works sometimes.

I'm on 2.7 and yesterday I witnessed the scheduled reboot. Only problem after reboot was that I had to go into BT menu on phone and disconnect/connect it (no re-pairing required) I was always wondering what prompted that lady to say "for your safety ...". Now I think it may be a sign that the system rebooted while I was not in the car.

MFT is still distracting. Especially when it's not functioning the way it should. I've caught myself spending too much time looking at the screen like when I'm trying to get BT Audio to be my source. The voice system sometimes takes 4-5 minutes before it hears me. Nothing more distracting than a malfunctioning touch system

My travel link only package was about 25$ Sirius seems to be very confused on what they should charge. This seems dis-honest and is the reason I opted out of the radio subscription.

I told Sirius I was not renewing cuz it was way too expensive. I finally talked to a rep in the US that gave me a good deal on just the travel link. I'm listening to Pandora most of the time anyway.
