Looks like I'll be making the call to schedule 2.11 I've been dragging my feet with the 2.11 update because my 2.7 system was rebooting on it's own and kinda cleaning up the bugs that build up over time. I haven't had to pull the FUSE 29 since it was installed... Until today. I actually resorted to pulling the damn fuse in an attempt to fix the latest "features" that have dumped on my system today. The fuse pull didn't help. This leaves me with crappy AM/FM. oh... and the CD player. I don't have CDs I'm wishing I hadn't cancelled Sirrius (not really) Partial screens. No audio from my USB iPod. WTF ??!?? iPhone won't stay connected. MFT connects to it long enough to tell the phone to play then it disconnects. BTW: I heard Ford announced today that they will stop putting CD players in cars. I hope they get the other stuff working right first!

A few versions ago I used to have a similar problem. It required me to pull Fuse 29 in order to fix it. Sounds like your 2.11 realized that it got stupid and did it's own reboot.

If you had the Touch system reading a text message to you, your phone must be compatible! Go into the Touch system menus and find the settings for you LG. Make sure the options to read text messages are enabled. If that doesn't work, delete the LG device from Touch and delete Touch from the LG. Now pair them again. Good luck!

My guess is that you do need to up grade to the latest version. 2.11

The 2.11 update updates the way Touch works with the clock.

Way COOL! This is the Sport I would have had I ordered a Sport but I opted for a Black Limited. You'll be happy with it. Just be understanding of the MyFordTouch system. It has "special needs" and hopefully will have a head transplant soon.

I carry Spray & Wipe with me. If you get the bugs off while they are still fresh, it's no big deal. If you let them cook on, you're going to have a chore removing them.

I like the diamond pattern vs the one on the Weather Techs. I've had WeatherTechs in the past and know that they are made of a fairly stiff plastic. Are your Huskys fairly stiff? Do they fit like the WeatherTechs that are pictured in this thread?

Someone posted a list of fixes in the new MFT 2.11 update. One of them was iPhone 4 Contacts. I wonder if it helps anything else. The new iOS 5 beta 4 seems to be performing better w/MFTthan iOS4 w/MFT. keep updating software/firmware as they are released because we are on the bleeding edge when it comes to this stuff.

I hadn't noticed but I had rubber mats in during the winter. Did the mat get a bunch of winter abuse?

I don't know for sure but from what I've learned from the forum is that the tech may failed to select the Nav option during the update.

Sounds like your dealership is not too bright. Most likely they are the reason for the new APIM...they "bricked" the original one while trying to up date it. Is there another dealership or Quick Lane in the area? or , tell your dealership to get it figured out. This is unacceptable to not have the Nav working.

I plan on taking mine in in the near future but dread being w/o the car. I have two symptoms when slowing to a near stop then accelerate The KLUNK and if it doesn't KLUNK, i sometimes have no throttle response for what seems like 2-3 seconds. another incentive to get to the shop is the 2.11 update & a slow BAMR.... so it will most likely end up being a multi day project.

Looks like 2.11 dropped yesterday. From a posting on SyncMyRide Forums... Here is another posting that lists the updates in 2.11 It looks like they addressed the Navigation issues when used heavily

There are a few versions of side mirrors out there. Looks as if Ford has changed the design in mid-production. My mirror has a 4" long ridge built into the mount area. This ridge is there to reduce noise.

Word on the street is that 2.11will be out before Aug. 11 UPDATE: It looks like 2.11 is out now! This post has a list of the fixes

The updates for the Edge have all required a visit to the dealership. There is no way of doing it yourself.
