Just a thought here... Could it be the that the GPS satellite is suppose to provide the DST info? Some folks' GPS satellites may just be more stupid than others. (Choff...Do they really do DST in Alaska? Does it make a difference?)

That's one way of thinking. I hope Ford went farther than patching a few problems. My guess is they kept the general concept of the quadrants and did a total rewrite while keeping the 4 areas. I hope!

This is why you should rotate your tires. If they aren't too worn now, rotate the front to the back and the back to the front.

You say the tires were rotated. Did the tire with the wear come from the front of the car before the work was done?

Did you happen to see a recent Mythbusters episode where they sprayed a car with that bedliner protectant? It did a real good job of protecting the car's body.

Check out the press release video. About 15 seconds into the video, you see the layout of the dash. I think it would be tempting to rest my hand on the touch buttons "below" Touch screen.

This statement from the press release is very interesting... I can tell you that I was led to purchase the edge initially by the press releases about My Ford Touch. I hope the next generation lives up to the hype. I'm not getting too excited until it actually drops.

If you haven't been smacking the screen with your fists, I would protest the $650 charge to fix it. The dealership can work a bit harder to get it coded as a warranty fix.

I agree but then I got to thinking.... Is this cover new for 2011? The Edge has been around for quite a while. Has there been no cover for previous models? At least the cargo cover functions as advertised. It's flimsy but functional.

I thought about a clear bra but feared that it wouldn't age well. ( Why is it that I can't help but think of my grandparent's plastic covered sofa? )

It's not the AppLink solution but it helps.... Pandora updated their iPhone app last night to work better with iOS 5 and cars. I can now see Artist & Song data via BT Audio. One problem with the BT Audio data is that it doesn't update often enough. Hopefully the Pandora developers can get this fixed.

Ouch! This is where some people would be saying you should have had the extended warranty. Well, How much would the warranty have cost?

Turns out that there was a busted pin on a wire. The tech repaired the connection and all is well. I sure hope that all the gremlins get worked out before the warranty runs out. I was just counting the official visits to the service dpt. FordOwner.com says I've had 10 service records since I took ownership 13mo. ago. This is NOT a good record.

So. Are you saying the door unlocking may be related to the windows? (same module?)

The 4 window switches on my driver's side door quit working yesterday. I tried all 4 switches and was able to get one back window to work for a bit but then the lights (on the switches) flickered out and it all went dead. Has anyone else come across this? Could it be a fuse? I've kinda ruled that out because it worked on and off a few times before it died. A loose connection or faulty switch sounds more like it to me. I'm not sure if this would be related but...yesterday my doors unlocked themselves while I was driving. That was odd.

I live in the states so I don't get DRLs. From what I've heard, the service tech can choose one of 3 options for the DRLs. Amber parking lamps, Dim headlamps, & one other combination that I think includes the LED lights.

My iPhone 4 on iOS 5 displayed track/artist info when BT streaming from the Music app (most of the time). It would not display track info from Pandora or Stitcher though. My iPhone 4s is the same way.

Could it be that sync is looking at the MP3 tags for track #. I don't think it cares what the file name is.
