The vapor silver is lighter then pewter I believe. I haven't seen the ink blue yet, but think I would like that.

I like the look of that wheel.

My salesman told me 7500. It also states 7500 in the owners manual.

Actually, the H & R' s just came in & will be getting them installed on Monday. They will also be fixing the antenna cable. My salesman claims they can't put it on the wing where it belongs. I'm not sure what the big deal is there, but if I were doing it myself, I'd remove the wing & figure out how to attach it there. My salesman couldn't give me a real good answer why he coudn't get the correct factory tuner & antenna. I asked what they would do if it was a factory system & there was a defect, how would you handle that? Still waiting for an answer.

The headrests are great. A little pricey, but I guess they are worth the money.

My first new Ford was a 93 Lightning, then an 03 Supercrew XLT, then 05 Supercrew Lariet. Now, an 07 MKX.

There is another body kit from a company called 3Dcarbon that supposedly works very closely with Ford to design their products. They can be ordered through Ford & added to your purchase if you choose.

Well, if you think she's mad, you should have seen the fuss I made when they put a Sirius antenna on the front of my roof & RTV'd it down the edge of the windshield glass. My salesman forgot to add it to my order & I didn't notice. At least he agreed with me & that will be taken care of. My feeling on this issue is that some either work for Ford or have relatives that do. Clearly, when someone is upset, the worst thing you can do is tell them they are wrong before proven otherwise. Just my .02.

A cream Edge passed me yesterday afternoon. The first I've seen in a while. Just about every other has been black.

I had them installed in my black MKX. I just got it last evening & so far, I've only watched for about 10 minutes while my salesman was showing me how to work them.The picture is very good as well as the sound. You can use them seperatly or link them to watch the same thing on both. Price is $1695 installed.

I picked it up last night. Its black with charcoal interior,BAMR,THX, DVD headrests, H & R lowering springs rear bumper strip & heated & cooled seats. I forgot to ask for Sirius, so the dealer added a tuner @ $495. They placed the antenna up front & ran the cable down the edge of the winshield & used black silicone to hold it there. There is also a piece of duct tape in the door jamb holding the wire down. Other then the Sirius thing, I'm very happy with it. :hyper:

The more recent production models now have Michelins on them. They must have gotten a lot of complaints on those awful looking Continentals.

I checked their website & it says that more info will be available by August 18th.

Is it safe to assume the MKX would be the same application as the Edge?

I have an 05 Supercrew & am currently getting 17.2 MPG as it came from the factory. This is mixed city & highway driving. The lowest its ever gotten was 16.4. I replaced the air filter & it went back up to 17.2. My MKX is due in on Thursday.

My Lincoln dealer has 2 of these on the lot. They do look black from a distance. I really like this color, very distinctive. I'm anxious to see if the ink blue is the same.

I'd also assume that if that cover was closed, there must be something of value in there. A quick smash & grab. I feel that is more of an invitation for trouble. Better to leave vaulables at home. If you must have the shade, I suggest leaving it open when that area is empty.

Looks good; I believe the trailer hitch available is a class II.

I'm pretty sure this is the same as White Sand. Looks better from a distance than close up in my opinion.

That's the whole idea behind such colors. The color seems to change as the amount of light does. My first recollection of this type of paint was on the Dodge Intrepid when they were introduced.

Well, I got a copy of my window sticker & discoverd that I didn't get the Sirius radio as I had wanted. Is it possible for the dealer to add this?

I agree with this. I work for a stereo manufacturer & know that non commercial CD's can indeed cause problems in a changer.

I see a service bulliten listed thst sounds as though it could be related to this.
