I did figure the DRL's. If they were active they would not run the tail lights and dim the indicators. My Edge thinks it is night all the time, don't know why. Thanks again Brian

I do have the switch in the correct position for auto operation. It has worked flawlessly for two years now. We only noticed it because the radio/odometer dimms when the lights come on, and it was diffficult to read the displays during the day, and they are on continously. I will look on the dash for the sensor. Is it easy to find? We purchased it new in New Hampshire and sorry friend, but what is a DLR? I really appreciate the input. It is still under warentee, but if it something simple it would save me trip to the dealership.

My 2007 headlights never turn off with "auto" selected any longer. By "headlights"I mean all night time lighting of course. I am simply using the headlight switch to select on/off and they do turn off when commanded, but they are not working properly. Does anyone else have this issue? Does the light sensor have a "booger" in it blocking the daylight or something? Any idea where it is? Thanks
