Im on my second tank. 17.5 in the city. I dont call highway when you have to slow down and accelerate ever few minutes. I cant wait to get her on a long stretch. im also getting on her w/o WOT a little to break her in a little.

I just bought Weathertech floor mats for the Edge. I was impressed by the pics but when installed, its awesome. They look great and can be easily removed and hosed off. No more cleaning up after my buddies after wet tailgating of fishing. Anybody else bought floormats. How about a back cargo protector deal.

I found out about the sirius receiver. i wonder if they have to resplice a new connector when I get my Hybrid Edge in a few years. How hard is it to remove the front bezel for the stereo. Im thinking about doing a bazooka tube and a amp. I dont think im going to do the amp for the speakers. I just had polk 6x8s installed and they sound great with the AVIC - D3 built in amp. Before I get distortion, my doors rattle for some reason. Car is still quiet on the highway with the radio off.

Im going to try the camping thing out. Ill prob bring a tent just incase for the good ol air bed. I wonder how long our batteries will last with a 12v fan.

Might be a bad idea with the hydrogen deal since there is no infrastructure. But I would rather do that than pay more money for gas. I think all Ford cars should be E85 capable. How hard would that be to do in each motor. Are special seals needed or is it just a program in the CPU.

I had the stock sirus antenna and they used it with my pioneer sirus reciever. So far it works great. Ive heard of it picking up XM also????

Also, where is the stock sirus wire run? Is it on the driver side or passenger bottom rail?

I found out on the AVIC-D3, you move the yellow wire on the white connector from the bottom to the top. You then ground the light green wire on the black harness and the yellow wire you just moved. Thats about it. I head it works from AVIC411.com. How hard is it to remove the front panel of the stereo? How is it done. I think its one piece. Where should I start pulling from?

Thanks. I guess all need to do is figure out how to setp the steering wheel controls and find out how to bypass the nav/dvd deal while the car is mooving. Its not for me, but for the passenger rider.

Does anybody know if the sensors in the rear for backing up are connected to the stereo or are the part of a different system?

Ive run Mobil one in all my cars after about 5000 miles. i change once at 1000 to make sure I get all the stuff thats in the motor when being built. I dont understand the glazing of the cylinder walls. Ive been in many car and truck forums with no record of that. Where can i find more info. I do understand the part about breaking the engine in by varying the speed. Only 700 more miles til I can go full throttle and see what this engine is made of.

Is anyone having a shimmy when the brakes are applied. Its brand new and Id imagine it shouldnt. I gotta go to the dealer

How many miles should I go to break in my motor. I have not got on it yet with 350 miles. I dont think ive even got above 3k.

What kind of parts do you need to get this install setup. it doesnt seem like you need much. Receiver harness splicers and resistor ( what kind ) to keep stock wheel controls different crimpers brackets or mounting kit options speakers siruis or xm receiver ipod cable is there anything that can be taken out or added to this list. I would really like to do this but know know 100 percent of what i need. I hate going back to the store for something I forgot.

Can it utilize the stock sirus antenna?

I got my new Edge yesterday with 100 miles on it. My sattellite seems to be working and I know its free for 6 months. How do i get it worked out after the 6 months and is it activated when the car rolls off the lot?

I just got my Edge and i heard a noise with the roof closed. It seemed like it was coming from the rear moonroof. I closed the shade and the noise went away. I opened it back up and the noise is gone. Anybody had this yet?
