  3. So the Monday before Thanksgiving I was driving and all of a sudden had a bad " Shudder" while driving. CEL came on right away. It was # 1 coil failure. A few monthe ago I had a intermttent miss and it was coil 3 so I had replaced that and things were fine til this. So put another new coil in and still no go. Doing some research found that the PCM/ECM has no protection for a bad coil. It kills the driver for that cylinder if it is a complete coil failure. Dealer wanted almost $2500 for the new pcm and coils and new keys. I found www.circuitboardmedics.com and found the exact issue . http://circuitboardmedics.com/2007-2010-ford-edge-pcm-ecm-repair/ Sent off my PCM/ECM and 4 days later had it back . I put in all new coils and since I had 85,000 miles I replaced the plugs so I don't have to do it in 15,000 and repay for labor to do the same thing. I used factory Ford Coils & Plugs. $547 and the $359.99 Repair which included Overnight Shipping both ways. I got to keep all my keys and Didn't have to worry about reprogramming my remote start bypass. These guys are very helpful and fast.
  4. Sold him my working sub and enclosure. He gets it and says it isnt working, fedex denied claim as box was not damaged, Wont answer emails or private messages. Filed with credit card company said he returned it as not working but kept the enclosure. I have filed with paypal and also a fraud report with PD . Since he doesn't answer messages or email, i am putting this out there to warn all others stay away from this fraud.
  5. I saw on this forum that you have iPod kits to install into OEM ford navigation radios.

How much do they go for?

  6. RCA filters= installer not knowing how to fix the problem correctly. Filters kill sound quality.
  7. I have a factory one for sale with an Arc Audio 8" sub in it if you want look in classifieds .
  8. Radar mounted on Blendmount to the rearview mirror
  9. 2007 Ford Edge factory subwoofer enclosure with brackets. I replaced the sub with an arc audio 8" sub. Way better than factory sub. $200 + $25 for shipping.
  10. done here http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/topic/8482-2007-edge-new-tail-lights-and-camera/ and it is a lot to rewire and also have to run resistors for the old brake/turn wire. 2 taillights sport edge were $120 each 2 wire harness @ $28 each 3 relays 2 load resistors
  11. So got the new 2011 Edge Sport Tail lights finally installed . Also the new trim for above the license plate also from a 2011 so i can mount my camera like the factory camera. I had the trim panel painted to match . Also moved the tailgate release switch from above the plate to the right of the plate.
  12. Yes i do paypal is securinu@att.net $10 gets them shipped same day . it is just the 2 wires with the pins you need to run them to a ground and i ran mine to the headlight switch so it dims with everything else. You can also get power up there but then they are on all the time and will eventually burn out which requires the whole switch to be replaced.

  13. either Arc Audio or Soundstream are good choices. Also you will need to run a power wire to the battery . The last thing you want to do is starve an amp of power. fastest way to burn up an amp. Arc makes a mini amp that will fit below the radio. Not the best place for it but plenty of air moves back there and makes for a simple install. i have 2 arc audio mini amps in my edge. they are awesome and very efficent. I ran a mono block and a 2 channel for the highs. Unless you use a fader a 2 channel amp is fine . if your interested call me at my office # listed on my website at the bottom.
