I don't know what that is, but I agree -- take it back and get it on the record that it was pre-existing before you purchased it. It could be a major issue down the road.

Have you looked to see if your cabin air filter is clogged/backed up? It lives behind your glove box and is very easy to check. There's a thread on the forum here with photos on exactly how to pull the glove box out (no tools required), find the filter, and pull it.
